Decorating Church for Christmas: After the Dec. 17th mass we will need help decorating the Church for Christmas. Please stay after mass and help decorate!
Christmas Memorials: “You are in my hear, in my thoughts, in my life always...”. If you wish to request a Christmas Floral Memorial this holiday season please deposit your request, including the intention & by whom with your donation in a clearly marked envelope in the collection. They need to be submitted by December 20th!
Come sing with our St. Paul’s Church choir and be involved in the church’s music ministry. No experience needed and all ages are welcome! The choir will meet at 9:15 am the first and second Sunday of each month. The choir offers everyone – young and old- the chance to lead the service in singing praise.
St. Michael’s Parish is installing a handicap lift to the basement The cost of the project will be approximately $18,000. Donations are being requested so as not to dip so heavily into savings. To donate simply place your donation in a plain envelope (do not use parish envelopes) mark it lift project, include your name, and place it in the collection basket. If you want to donate secretly give the envelope to Fr. Letona. Money counters will be notified on how to deposit these funds.
Heads up!! It's time to begin planning for our annual Christmas basket social/raffle once again. This is planned for Sunday, Dec. 17 following Mass. The CCD students will prepare and serve Christmas cookies and beverages. This is a tremendous fund raiser for our PCCW so please be generous in your crafting and shopping. Non-parish members are welcome to come socialize and shop as well!
The PCCW will be sponsoring the memory book during the month of November. Donations for Masses can be placed in the box in the back of church
St Michaels Winter Snow Removal We need your help to make our steps and sidewalks safe during the upcoming winter season. Again this year we are requesting volunteers. The weekly
commitment is for Wednesdays before 6:30 CCD classes and before 8:00 AM Sunday Mass. Shovels, salt and snow blower are provided. A sign-up calendar is located on the table at church entrance. If you feel you are not physically able to participate in clearing, a monetary offering can be given to Jerry Bloom for the purchase of salt and gasoline. Direct questions to the Building and Grounds Committee members.
Come join St. James Choir and sing for the Joy of Christmas. The choir will practice on Wednesdays at 6 pm. All are welcome.
The Camp Douglas Food Pantry is in dire need of donations at this time. Your donations can be money or food. There will be a list of needs posted in the back of the church and a box in the back of the church for your convenience. Please help out. There are several drop spots here in Camp Douglas.
