We use pre-wrapped candy, such as salt water taffy, flavored tootsie rolls, Airheads, mini-licorice, Tic-Tacs, small packs of gum, tootsie roll suckers, etc. It's not too early to begin planning your cakes and cupcakes for the raffle. Saint James
PPC AND FINANCE COMMITTEES: A Huge Thank you to those parishioners who have served on St James Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Finance Council so faithfully for many years. It is now time to select new members. These Councils meet four times a year and occasionally when there is an emergency. Fr. Letona will select the Finance Council members, but the Parishioners of St. James need to nominate people serve on the PPC and then an election will be held from those who are nominated to fill the spots. The current members of the PPC, (Gary Dechant, Joe Madejczyk, Maggie Jilek, Joan Connor and Maggie Save) are not eli- gible to be re-elected. It is time for them to step down and open the door to new members and fresh insights and ideas.

The Camp Douglas Food Pantry is in dire need of donations at this time. Your donations can be money or food. There will be a list of needs posted in the back of the church and a box in the back of the church for your convenience. Please help out. There are several drop spots here in Camp Douglas.
