Fall Festival: Now is a good time to plan your donations to the Country Market, Produce, Canning, Fall Decorations or anything you could find at a market. All donations are appreciated.
Once again we are in need of items for the Fall Festival Small Raffle. If you have some- thing to donate, please contact Janet Hoile at 562-3242. All items must be received before September 10th. Thank you to all past and present contributors.
CAKE RAFFLE: Candy donations can be dropped off in the designated basket in the entry way of the church. We use pre-wrapped candy, such as salt water taffy, flavored tootsie rolls, Airheads, mini-licorice, Tic-Tacs, small packs of gum, tootsie roll suckers, etc. It's not too early to begin planning your cakes and cupcakes for the raffle. Need ideas,...check out PINTEREST for creative, fun and delicious recipes! We thank all parish families for their continued contributions to the Fall Festival!
Our Mother Mary needs your help! We are down to 2 volunteers that come every Monday at St. Paul’s from 10:30 to 1:00 pm to make rosary’s that are sent all over the world. Supplies are on hand. Please find it in your heart to help out with how ever much time you can spare!
New Lisbon Food Pantry: The Pantry is open the 1st four Thursdays of each month from 8:30 am—10:45 am., and 3rd Wed of the month from 4-5pm.We will be happy to accept donations at this time also. Clothing is not accepted. Thank you for your continued support. Please save Milk tops, box tops, soup labels and pull tabs off soup cans. These items help our school. Location is Siler Star at 201 Leer St. New Lisbon.
Saint Michael
We are currently looking for CCD teachers for the upcoming school year for children from St. Michaels and St. James parishes. If you are interested in helping in the faith formation of our children, please contact Deb Granger (372-9617) as soon as possible.
St. Michael's - Parish Council/Finance Council meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 24 at 6 p.m. at Therese Schuh's in Oakdale.
St. Michael’s Choir is inviting everyone who is interested in singing in our choir to come join us. We welcome all ages especially encourage young people to add your voices to ours.
Saint James
PPC AND FINANCE COMMITTEES: A Huge Thank you to those parishioners who have served on St James Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Finance Council so faithfully for many years. It is now time to select new members. These Councils meet four times a year and occasionally when there is an emergency. Fr. Letona will select the Finance Council members, but the Parishioners of St. James need to nominate people serve on the PPC and then an election will be held from those who are nominated to fill the spots. The current members of the PPC, (Gary Dechant, Joe Madejczyk, Maggie Jilek, Joan Connor and Maggie Save) are not eli- gible to be re-elected. It is time for them to step down and open the door to new members and fresh insights and ideas.
The Camp Douglas Food Pantry is in dire need of donations at this time. Your donations can be money or food. There will be a list of needs posted in the back of the church and a box in the back of the church for your convenience. Please help out. There are several drop spots here in Camp Douglas.
